PLANETARY ASPECTS Week 11/06/2017-11/12/2017

Thursday 11/9/2017 4:12:02AM – Sun 17 Scorpio 17’ sextile Pluto 17 Capricorn 17’

Symbols – Sun (Charubel): A man holding a pair of scales in one hand and a sword in the other; Pluto (Charubel): A racecourse, the racers at full speed.

The Sun enervates and illuminates passage into the most profound depths of the realm of the Underworld with this aspect. With the Sun in Pluto’s sign and now in the last Ptolemaic aspect before conjoining with Pluto in a new cycle, there is a reflection on lessons learned in the labyrinth of inner wellsprings, and perhaps a mapping of the features that offer a benefit as well as the places that are best left untouched and undisturbed, at least for now. The final but perhaps most heavily medicinal trickle of creative waters within come to our lips. Here the forceful hand of evolution through self applied pressure and constraint eases, and we come to understand that although there is much about our nature as humans that is utterly out of our control, it is our consciousness that ignites the fires of growth and forward motion. Awareness of the unfolding of life’s pattern allows us to release stored potential and purpose out into the world when the time is exactly right. Each and every time we take premeditated action, we can become more and more focused and precise, and in this way we refine ourselves.

Saturday 11/11/2017 1:44:31AM – Saturn 25 Sagittarius 38’ trine Uranus 25 Aries 38’

Symbols – Saturn (Charubel): A giant of monstrous dimensions; Uranus (Sabian): A Man Possessed Of More Gifts Than He Can Hold. Keyword: Equipment

Saturn represents calcification and the necessary element of inertia which allows for the establishment of linear order and proper timing. Uranus is the quality of resistance which challenges existing structures, questioning their relevance in the light of new information and technologies that are constantly being revealed. In this harmonious aspect, the commonality that these two planets share is made clear. In physical reality, there must always be some sort of structure, and attention on reinforcing the parts of the structure that are working well will yield a method to replace that structure at some point down the road. The time for replacement may not be now, but it will surely come, as change is the one inevitable constant. When we can stand still and observe both the past and the future, acknowledging what has brought us to the current day and allowing ourselves to perceive exactly what is needed to carry ourselves, our families, our societies, and our civilization to a place where we would all like to be, we are in the best possible place to make the most of our gifts and talents, fitting them cleanly and efficiently into the flow of activity and ideas around us that so easily acquires a will and a mind of its own.
